BellHawk Online Manufacturing Option
Equipment Tracking (BOL-ETO)
Track time on equipment, machines and production lines.
Capabilities
Operation Time Track operation times on work order steps and associated labour hours.
Machine Status View the status of equipment and work orders running in realtime.
Downtime Track when equipment goes down and why; including maintenance.
Utilisation Capture equipment used for jobs and operating parameters for materials traceability.
Costing Include cost of machines in work order cost and product costs.
Time/Cost Allocation Allocate time and machine cost to multiple work orders running at the same time
Sequences Simplify operator recording of a sequence of work orders on the same machine

Process
- Scan (log) onto a machine
- Scan job or multiple jobs onto the machine
- Scan materials onto the machine for processing
- Scan materials off the machine after processing
- Scan job or multiple jobs off the machine
Multiple jobs
Allocate costs and performs material traceability for several jobs run together on the same machine. Examples: converting rolls of material, cutting parts for multiple jobs from sheets of steel or wood.
Process control integration.
ETO is a good basis for integration with process control systems. User defined parameters (UDP) in BellHawk operation setup and work-order step data can specify machine parameters. The process control equipment can use this data to control the operation.
Traceability · Quality Control
The process control system can send operating conditions and statistical control summary data back to BellHawk. This will be stored as part of the materials tracking and traceability data for individual products or batches of products. The Quality Control and Traceability modules can utilise this data.
