Inventory Audit Module (IAM)

IAM enables a blind inventory audit by location without shutting down the warehouse.

A material handler can scan the barcode on a shelf close it, record what is there and then reopen it.

Capabilities

Process

1. Scan a barcode on a shelf or rack to close a location to all other activity.
2. Record what is in the location.
3. End the audit of that location, opening it up to further transactions.

Discrepancies

IAM produces a discrepancy report and tracks action by materials managers to resolve the discrepancies.

Adjustments

Materials managers can either make an adjustment or accept a minor discrepancy, such as 498 washers instead of 500.
