TTE Explosives enables manufacturers, distributors and users to track items from source to point of use and hold records for ten years
EU Directive Compliance
EU regulations require all manufacturers and importers to identify every explosive item and package with a unique number. This applies to all packaging levels so that movements all the items in a container can be tracked from location to loaction. Distributors and user have to track all explosives in their custody and keep records for ten years.
TTE Explosives is a cloud system for everyone who holds explosives to comply with these regulations according to the guidelines established the Federation of European Explosives Manufacturers (FEEM). TTE uses rugged handheld computers to track movements including consumption, a cloud database to record the these movements, and a browser for customers to manage their systems and stocks.
Process
- The supplier loads a consignment onto a vehicle and sends an XML file to the customer with nested records of the unique numbers on the pacakages and items.
- The customer uploads the XML file to the TTE system, or the supplier and customer can use the TTE TrustCenter to automate the process.
- On delivery the customer places a handheld computer in its cradle to download. the XML file from their TTE cloud system.
- An operator scans some or all of the barcodes in the consignment to check the delivery corresponds to the XML file and accepts the delivery.
- The operator uses the handheld computer to transfer the items to magazines or send them for consumption; quarries often order exactly what they need for blasting.
- Operator use hand held computers to track movements in and out of magazines before returning to the office and placing the handheld computer in its cradle to synchronise with the customer's TTE system
- The customer is able to review movements, stocks and usage of all products logged on the system.
