This family company blends vegetable oils. It packages them for retail, wholesale and restaurant markets.

Reasons for barcode tracking

  1. To track their finished goods inventory real–time.
  2. To make sure they picked products in date order.
  3. To prevent mistakes in picking and shipping.
  4. To track lots and containers to customers.
  5. To maintain electronic tracking and traceability records.

The system

The storemem have a dozen wireless mobile computers. They track the finished goods from the packing lines through the warehouse to picking, packing and shipping. There are barcode printers for box labels and pallet labels.

The BellHawk system integrates with the company's Sage ERP system.
